King Charles III's coronation further proof of species lunacy
Justice--the end of civil society-dictates renunciation of the British monarchy and disbursement of its wealth to the colonial peoples Great Britain oppressed and plundered
King Charles III is scheduled to be coronated on May 6, 2023. The juvenile extravaganza is likely to attract a witless audience exceeding one billion. If there are greater earmarks of species lunacy, they do not readily come to mind.
Thomas Paine, voice of the American Revolution, elaborated in the Rights of Man:
“We have heard the Rights of Man called a levelling system; but the only system to which the word levelling is truly applicable, is the hereditary monarchical system. It is a system of mental levelling. It indiscriminately admits every species of character to the same authority. Vice and virtue, ignorance and wisdom, in short, every quality, good or bad, is put on the same level. Kings succeed each other, not as rationals, but as animals. It signifies not what their mental or moral characters are. Can we then be surprised at the abject state of the human mind in monarchical countries, when the government itself is formed on such an abject levelling system?—It has no fixed character. To-day it is one thing; to-morrow it is something else. It changes with the temper of every succeeding individual, and is subject to all the varieties of each. It is government through the medium of passions and accidents. It appears under all the various characters of childhood, decrepitude, dotage, a thing at nurse, in leading-strings, or in crutches. It reverses the wholesome order of nature. It occasionally puts children over men, and the conceits of non-age over wisdom and experience. In short, we cannot conceive a more ridiculous figure of government, than hereditary succession, in all its cases, presents.”
King Charles III and the royal family are an assemblage of ciphers. They could have been a rich mix of Socrates, Shakespeare, and Isaac Newton given their limitless free time and wealth. Instead, the British royal family have squandered their lives on trivialities divorced from their reason for being—to promote justice.
To display moral and philosophical nobility to live for the ages, Charles should order the abandonment of British royalty and a disbursement of its collective wealth to atone for its colonial sins in multiple countries around the world, for example, Egypt, Sudan, South Sudan, Nigeria, Zimbabwe, Zambia, South Africa, Ghana, Sierra Leone, Pakistan, India, Jamaica, and the Gambia. Amos 5: 24 trumpets, “But let justice roll down as waters, and righteousness as a mighty stream.”
Billions around the world remain fascinated and awed by the British Royalty because of congenital lunacy and cravings for distractions from the unpleasant truths about the species. They want to believe in fairy tales, magic, and simplicities to flee from the moral complexities and challenges of real life, which is more chiaroscuro than prime colors.
Deploring species lunacy, nevertheless, is as otiose as shouting at the weather. But it is the right thing to do.
